I love omelets because they’re so easy to make and so versatile. If you have a ton of scraps of meat and veggies lying around, you can just throw them in an omelet with delicious results. Here’s how I make them.
- 3 eggs
- Salt
- Pepper
- Cayenne pepper
- Garlic powder
- Cilantro
- Miscellaneous ingredients. Today I used sliced turkey, black olives, cilantro, and parmesan cheese.
- Cottage cheese
- Salsa
Mix together one whole egg and two egg whites and add salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and cilantro to your taste. Make sure the mixture is homogenous and pour into Pam-med medium-sized pan. Once a thin layer of white has formed on the bottom of the omelet, add the miscellaneous ingredients. Cook until the bottom of the omelet is browned to your liking, carefully fold over, and remove from pan by sliding onto plate. I also like to top it with cottage cheese and salsa!
